Childplace Childcare Support for Foster Care Events
Serve alongside foster care staff in providing basic childcare for various foster care events. Volunteers do not have to commit to serving at all events, but do commit to multiple events.

4/21/26: Hope for the Journey All Day event (Foster parent training)
6/12/26: Summer Fun Day
8/18: Foster parent training
10/20/26: Foster parent training
12/10/26: Foster Care Christmas Party
Locations of each event TBD, but in the Jeffersonville/Sellersburg area. We often use local churches for these events.

- Agency volunteer application, physical, background checks, and agency-provided trainings
Responsibilities
- Childcare and support for Foster Care events
Restrictions
- 21+ years old
Preparation
- We will contact you to help you know next steps! Once all requirements are met - just be ready to serve some foster youth and foster families at fun events or trainings!
